You can permanently delete your Suppah Social account and personal data at any time. Below are the two ways to request deletion.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
- Open the Suppah Social app and sign in.
- Tap your avatar in the top-right to open the sidebar.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion request when prompted.
Option 2 — Email us
Send an email to legal@suppahsocial.com from the email address associated with your Suppah Social account. Include the subject line "Delete my account". We will confirm receipt within two business days and complete the deletion within fourteen days.
What gets deleted
- Your name, email address, phone number, and avatar
- Your bio, dietary preferences, allergens, and pet allergies
- Your saved addresses and event venues
- Your menus, dishes, and host listings (if you are a chef or host)
- Your messages, posts, and reviews
- Your push notification tokens and device IDs
- Your payment method records stored in our database
What is retained, and why
We retain a minimum amount of data after deletion to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations:
- Transaction and booking records — retained for seven years for tax and accounting compliance, in accordance with IRS guidance for small businesses.
- Identity-verification records held by Stripe — these are processed by Stripe under their own retention policy, not by Suppah Social. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Anonymized analytics and crash logs — these contain no personally identifying information and are retained for product improvement.
All retained records are stored securely and are not used for marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to legal compliance.
