Whether you're thinking about joining as a guest, opening your space as a host, or cooking your first suppah — here's everything you need to know.
I'm a Guest
Yes — Suppah Social is a private dining community. You'll need to apply and get verified before you can browse and book events. Joining is free.
Once you're verified, you'll get access to our private event calendar. You can filter by cuisine, neighborhood, chef, date, and vibe.
Everyone is verified. Every guest is ID-checked and screened before they can attend. You're dining with people who passed the same check you did.
Every chef sets their own menu — anything from West African to Japanese to Southern soul food. You'll see the full menu and cuisine type before you book.
You can note dietary restrictions when you book. The chef will do their best to accommodate, but some limitations apply depending on the menu. Always communicate early.
In real homes, lofts, rooftops, and private spaces — never a commercial venue. Every space is reviewed and approved before it can host an event.
Cancel 72+ hours before = full refund. 24 to 72 hours before = 50% refund. Less than 24 hours or a no-show = no refund.
Absolutely. You can hire a verified chef to cook at your home or at a host's space. You set the guest list, we handle the chef. Your people eat — you cover the tab.
I'm a Host
You need a functional kitchen (oven, stovetop, prep space), seating for at least 6 guests, and a clean, welcoming environment. It doesn't need to be fancy — it needs to feel cared for.
Not at all. The chef handles all cooking, plating, and kitchen cleanup. Your job is to open the door and set the vibe.
You earn a commission on every ticket sold at your space. Payouts are processed automatically after each event via Stripe Connect — directly to your bank account.
Yes, listing your space is completely free. You only earn — never pay to be a host.
You approve or decline proposals sent by chefs — once you accept a chef's proposal, they handle the guest list from our verified guest pool. Every guest is already ID-verified before they can attend any event, so you can trust who's walking through your door.
All chefs on our platform carry liability insurance and are responsible for the kitchen and dining area during the event. Any damage issues are handled through our support team.
Yes — many of our hosts become go-to venues for specific chefs. You can set your availability and build ongoing relationships with chefs whose vibe matches yours.
Cancellations within 72 hours of an event result in a strike on your account. Three strikes triggers a community review. Reliability is what makes this work — for everyone.
I'm a Chef

You set everything. You design the menu, choose the courses, and set your ticket price. We don't tell you what to cook or what to charge.
You keep the lion's share of every ticket sold. Suppah Social takes a small platform fee. The exact split is outlined in your chef agreement when you're approved.
No — that's what hosts are for. You can browse available host spaces and apply to cook there, or a host can reach out to you directly. You can also cook at a guest's home for private bookings.
A valid food handler's license, ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification, and liability insurance. Don't have them yet? You do — the kitchen and dining area are your responsibility before you leave. This is part of the chef agreement and what keeps hosts inviting you back.
As many as you want, as long as you have confirmed bookings. Some of our chefs run multiple suppahs a week. Build your crowd, grow your reputation.
All guests are ID-verified. Any issues during an event can be reported to our support team, and we handle accountability on our end. You focus on the food.
