Boston, MA
Book a private dinner party with a verified Boston chef. Hosted at your home— or, if your place can't fit the night, a Suppah Social host space (loft, rooftop, larger condo) across Cambridge, the South End, Beacon Hill, JP, or Somerville. 4 to 30 guests. From $80 per person, all-in.
Boston has a quiet, growing private-dinner culture. Most of it lives in word-of-mouth — a chef caters a friend's birthday, that friend's sister hires the same chef next month, and so on. Suppah Social formalizes the matching: you find the chef on the explore page instead of through a forwarded text, and the booking, payment, refund policy, and verification all live on one platform.
Most Boston-based Suppah private dinners happen at the guest's own home — a South End condo, a Cambridge brownstone, a Somerville two-family. When the guest doesn't have a space to host (small apartment, no kitchen, hosting work folks), the platform also lists host spaces across Boston: lofts, rooftops, larger condos. The host gets 25% of the ticket; the guest gets a venue.
The most-booked formats:
Most private dinner bookings happen 2–6 weeks out. The chef builds a custom proposal once you send the request — date, headcount, dietary notes, occasion. You accept or counter; 50% deposit on accept. Same flow for every chef on the platform.
Per-person all-in: $80–$250. The 5% platform fee is included; the rest goes to chef (and host, if used). No tips on top — tip is included in the per-head price.
Boston chefs typically cover a 25-mile travel radius, which captures the whole Greater Boston area plus Pawtucket and Providence. If you're booking from the North Shore or further out, set the venue address and the explore page filters to show only chefs whose service radius reaches you.
